My Role: Special Events Intern - Primary Coordinator of Employee Appreciation Day

Challenge: Organize a special event to express Sony Pictures Television's gratitude to its many employees after a successful pilot season. The event should include enough food trucks to feed approximately 600-800 people over a two-hour lunch period on the studio lot. Work with each food truck to obtain a specialized event menu and special insurance for entry to the lot. Rent necessary furniture and equipment to create a fun, well-organized event.

The Results: Sony Pictures Television Appreciation Day, May 5, 2017. Event included:

  • Breaking Bad themed "Los Pollos Hermanos" chicken truck, complete with labelled presentation
  • 8 Food Trucks: In n Out, Free Range Chicken, The Fry Guys, Jaliscos Tacos, Carvel Ice Cream, Let's Be Frank, B Sweet Bread Pudding, Made in Brooklyn Pizza
  • Over 600 attendees
  • Rented tables and chairs, speakers with music
